Your Privacy and Data.

Our Policy is always changing. Please check it regularly.

1. We do not track you, or use cookies, or follow what you do online in any way, although our website host might. They are Wix and you will be able to view their Privacy Policy online at www.wix.com

​

2. We collect some information about you during our booking process. This includes your names, address, email, and phone number.

 

Why? Because we use this information as part of the service that we provide you, and we need to be able to communicate with you. We also collect information about emergency contacts. We only use this in the event of an emergency involving your hound or a communication breakdown with you.

 

What do we do with the information we keep about you? Well, we store that information in our email system, which is Outlook, on Jotform, which is our registration system, and we keep all the information gathered on our servers at Wix, our website provider. We also archive online chats through Whatsapp as we can use these as a reference for care instructions, or for quickly updating any changes in instructions regarding your dogs care. This in turn is backed up ICloud and Google Drive. We will NEVER EVER sell or forward your information to a third party

We will keep your information for up to a year and then if we haven't heard from you, or you no longer use our service, we will delete it from Wix, Outlook, Whatsapp, Phone contacts and any other third party apps we use for our administration. 

 

3. Contacting you. We don't feel the need at this stage to send you marketing emails although we will send announcements regarding the opening and closing of our booking system. We will not be bombarding you with discounts or deals in your In- Box. We may send the odd email though and maybe a newsletter or two.

 

4. Social Media.  We use it to post pictures and videos of our guests which are in turn could be used for marketing purposes and media exposure. When you apply to board with us we will ask you if you wish to opt out of Social Media coverage. If you do we will not post pictures of your dog or pet. If you don't opt out we closely examine each image and remove any sensitive information that could be used to identify you, our client, before we post pictures This includes phone numbers on tags. ​

 

5. You are welcome to ask to see the information we hold on you at any time, simply by contacting us and making a Subject Access Request.

6. Financials. We don't store your financial data and we will never ask you for your bank details unless it is to provide you with a refund. Our bank is Monzo, and our Card provider is Square. You can check their individual privacy policies at
