Arts for Hounds

Lix is an enrichment activity for Sighthounds. It is part of our Sighthound daycare programme at The Sighthound Social, our Glasgow based Doggy Daycare, exclusively for hounds. Lix is funded entirely by our Buy Me A Coffee donations service.

Why LIX?

Using a canvas loaded with paint, safely sealed in a plastic bag with peanut butter on top, creates a unique and exciting sensory experience for our hounds. The materials stimulate their sense of sight, touch and taste, encouraging them to engage in exploratory behaviour, and potentially creating a unique and interesting artwork. A varied programme of enrichment is crucial for the hounds overall well being.
